A family tradition
Since the early 1960s, the Stamos family has owned and managed the cabins. They have loved watching customers spend magic days and nights on the beach, explore the county, and walk or bike into town.
Sharing the love of the area and its natural beauty is a Stamos family tradition.

The town of Northport, Michigan
The historic village of Northport is a picturesque one mile walk away from Bayshore Cabins. Perched at the end of the Leelanau Peninsula, Michigan’s “little finger,” the town of a few hundred people looks out on the crystalline blue waters of Grand Traverse Bay. A couple of miles away, on the other side of the peninsula, lies Lake Michigan. In Northport, you'll find a marina, public beaches, a golf course, and restaurants. Lake Michigan state parks are within 10 miles, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park is 25 miles away.
